Human rights activist from UNPACU intimidated by State Security in Guantánamo



In the morning 21 September 2020, Enrique Mustelier Sosa, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), was summoned to the police unit Parque 24 in the city of Guantánamo. There he was received by State Security official Víctor who annouced him that they would open a criminal case against him based on the paragraph on dangerousness. According to the official, the reason is the fact that he has not a job and is meeting anti-social and counter-revolutionary elements. "You know that you cannot meet anybody and if we catch you producing and ditributing posters, we will let you disappear", said the official Víctor who was threatening Enrique during the whole interrogation.
