Daisi Artiles was going to attend an event organized by Ladies in White in Havana. When she left her home in Cerro Municipality, she was detained by State Security officials (DSE) and National Revolutionary Police (PNR), so she could not get to the place. She was taken to the detention center known as El Vivac where she was kept for more than 10 hours.
