UNPACU activist detained by the State Security and left naked on the national highway

In the afternoon, 24 July 2020, a human rights activist Miguel Ángel López Herrera left the provincial headquarters of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) in Guantánamo and was walking down the Pedro A. Pérez Street. Suddenly, Miguel was stopped by a patrol car and detained. He was then driven to the police unit known as Parque 24. There, State Security officials told him that this was for the last time they were dealing with him since he could be soon prosecuted for dangerousness. Few hours later, Miguel was driven to the national highway. Before leaving, the officials stole his money, all his personal belongings and clothes.
