UNPACU activist detained, driven to Parque 24 and threatened



In the afternoon, 24 July 2020, a human rights activist Enrique Mustelier Sosa, having left the provincial headquarters of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) in Guantánamo, was passing through the Moncada and Aguilera Streets. Suddenly, Enrique was stopped by a patrol car and detained. He was then driven to the police unit known as Parque 24. There, State Security officials told him that this was for the last time they were dealing with him since he could be soon prosecuted for dangerousness. Moreover, the officials stole victim's money and all his personal belongings. He was released four hours later.
