Human rights activist detained and threatened



Lianet Gonzales Vera was going to the UNPACU Headquarters in Guantánamo Province and to the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province. On her way, she was detained by the State Security official Major Alayo and driven to the Police Department in El Salvador. He threatened her to take away her younger daughter and to put her in the children´s home. She was released several hours later and given an official warning.
