On 9 February 2019 at 6 am, Celina Osoria Claro was on her way towards the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in order to attend Mass which is carried out there every Sunday. When she was passing through the Los Maceos Street and 3 Sur, she was detained by the State Security (DSE) officials known as Luis Ángel or Roberto and Leoni. The officials took her to the police unit called Parque 24. There they informed her that she would not be allowed to leave her house on 24 February. The ban included also her husband, activist Bartolo Cantillo Romero. If they did not follow the order, an adequate reaction would come from their side, according to the officials. She was released at about 6 pm on the same day without any further consequences.
