Imprisoned and on hunger strike in spite of the irregularities

Tomás Núñez Magdariaga, 66 and member of UNPACU, was imprisoned first in 2017 for a backlog of fines. During his imprisonment, State Security agents broke in his house and stole some of his belongings. Some time after, he bump into one of the agents and they exchange some words. The agent sued him and after a sham trial he was condemned to one year in prison. Despite of the confession of the agent, about the lies in his testimony and the State Security pressure over him, Tomas remains in prison. He started a hunger strike that is worsening his health situation, whose only consequence was him to be moved to a punishment cell.
