Maria Luisa Chacon Lamoth was heading to the Mass in Santiago de Cuba to demand peacefully the release of political prisoners and the cessation of the political repression.
At 6 a.m., Maria Luisa was arrested by Captain Juan Carlos, the head of the Reparto Obrero, and taken to the police station Park 24 in the patrol car no. 630. She was interrogated by the official of the State Security known as Brayan and released around 10 a.m.
