Arrested, threatened and fined after demonstrating to demand justice for her brother



Daniela Gómez Beyrut was detained by police officers and State Security agents while participating in a peaceful demonstration in front of the Provincial Court of Guantánamo demanding justice for her brother, who was punished for demonstrating on 11J. Daniela was taken to the Parque 24 Police Unit where she was held for more than 20 hours and fined 3,000 CUP (114.5 €). She was also threatened with prosecution for disobedience if she continued to demand justice for her brother.
