Man from Guantánamo violently detained by MININT on the street

On 18 December 2020, David González Jouver was detained by officials from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), when he was on his way home. González Jouver was carrying a bag with products he had bought in a shop, so-called tienda recaudadora de divisa. The officials told him to open the bag, but González Jouver refused, explaining that this should be done at the respective police station. Subsequently, the outraged officials attacked him, applying immobilization techniques and putting him against the patrol car no. 637. Then he was driven to the police station known as Parque 24. He was released four hours later with a fine in the amount of 1500 pesos for disobedience.
