José Eduardo Algesida Aballe was demonstrating against the Cuban government, because of the needs of the people, when he was arrested and taken to prison for the crime of contempt. José was transferred to the penitentiary center in Holguín province. On January 6, José was attacked by an inmate named Ortiz, who hit him on the head. Apparently this event was organized by the police itself.
