Madelyn Rodríguez Martín, an independent lawyer and human rights defender from Pinar del Río, was lining up in front of a shop to do shopping. Suddenly, an official from the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) approached her and told her that she was not maintaining social distance. When the official asked for her ID, Rodríguez Martín replied by asking for the reason. The official said that she should, in the fist place, give her the ID and then ask why. Moreover, according to the official, she had no right to put the work of police in question. The activist ended up with a fine amounting 2000 pesos.
