Kirenia García Frometa was going to the UNPACU Headquarters in Guntánamo. Then she wanted to attend Mass in the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province. The Mass was carried out in order to support Ladies in White and Todos Marchamos champaign which was conducted to demand the release of political prisoners. She was detained by secret police oficial Sergio and taken to a department prosecuting crimes against state security. She was kept there until 1 pm and during that time she was threatened by lieutenant Marianaque. Knowing Kirenia has AIDS, she started insulting her and telling her that her treatment was very expensive and she was very ungrateful. Kirenia was also given an oficial warning.
