An activist Alexei Brizo Lahera was going to participate in a protest march, which was being conducted to demand the release of political prisoners and the end of political repression in Cuba. At 6:45, he was detained in Luz Caballero Street by police and State Security officials. They put Alexei to the patrol car and transported him to bus parked in direct sunlight. He was later released approximately 30 km away from the city, in place called Glorieta with no public transport.
