Activist detained by police while filming her summoned husband



On 10 January, 2021, María Cristina Garrido Rodríguez, a human rights activist from Quivicán and a member of the Cuban Republican Party, was on the street, recording his husband who was being summoned to the police station. Suddenly, a policeman took her cell phone and drove her to the police unit. Garrido Rodríguez was detained there from 11 am until 5 pm and after that was released.
