An independent journalist from Guantánamo detained by State Security and threatened with imprisonment



On 27 October, 2021, Anderlay Guerra Blanco was walking down the Moncada Street, Varona corner, when he was detained by State Security officials. They transported him to the police unit Parque 24 in the city of Guantánamo where they confiscated him his cell phone and video camera. Anderley was threatened and told that he is not allowed to leave his home on 15 November otherwise they would imprison him as well as other crazy people who would follow him. Concerning the confiscated things, they told him that it belongs to the revolution and worms like him do not have any rights in Cuba.
