Lady in White from Jovellanos detained and threatened due to her activism

On 2 December 2018, human rights defender and Lady in White, Sissi Abascal Zamora, was again detained by Captain Dayron in order to prevent her from participating in Mass. When she left her house, the Captain drove her to the police station in Carlos Rojas along with her mother. She was detained until 12.30 pm. Before being released, she was threatened and warned that if she did not give up her activities, the repression would increase.
