Yoanny Limonta García is an independent syndicalist and a member of the Independent Trade Union Association of Cuba. In the morning, on Monday, 3 December, he was stopped by the police on the street in Aguada de Pasajeros and detained. Then he was immediately driven to the police station in Aguada and later on transported to the one in Cienfuegos. Before his release, the officers confiscated him a video camera Sony, his Samsung cell phone and six cards with a name of the former political prisoner Iván Hernández Carrillo. After his written appeal he presented few days later, he got back his cell phone.
