Graciela Domínguez Girón, an activist from the Cuban Patrotic Union (UNPACU), was travelling by microbus to Santiago de Cuba in order to attend an event organized by UNPACU Todos Marchamos. When the bus was approaching the municipality of Santa María, she was taken out from the vehicle by force along with other UNPACU activists. Then she was left standing aside the road for several hours. After that, she was put in another car and driven by secret police officers to the National Revolutionary Police in Mella. There she was threatened with death and with being taken far away if she continued with her activities within UNPACU.
