The activist was about to attend Todos Marchamos Campaign organized by UNPACU. When he was on his way, he was detained by secret police officials who pushed him and other UNPACU activists to the ground. After several hours in this position, police put him to the car and took him to the National Revolutionary Police in Julio Antonio Mella. He was threatened with death if he continued his activities in UNPACU.
