When Carlos Olivera Martínez together with his two colleagues were walking down the central streets in Colon, distributing ten food boxes to ten homeles people, they were stopped by law enforcement officers accompanied by two secret police officials. Carlos Olivera and his colleague Félix Navarro were put in the patrol car no. 208. They were driven to the municipal police station and taken to the upper office. They all stayed there until their release, watched by political police officials known as Víctor, Alberto Surí and Yunier. In certain moment, Carlos Olivera was taken out from that place to the office of secret police official Dayron. Dayron is known as the one who already gave a hard time to those who actively participate in distributing the food to homeless people.
