On August 8, 2015, when FLAMUR campaign against violance on women was running, an extensive police operation lead by the State Security was carried out. A lawyer Yelky Puig was detained and transported to the National Revolutionary Police unit in Pinar del Río. When everything was prepared for processing him, he was released with an official warning. He was also told they would not let him be and would open up the process if he came back to his couterrevolutionary activity.
