Yelky Puig Rodriguez detained in the Bus Terminal in Pinar del Río



On February 20, 2016, a political leader Yelky Puig Rodriguez was going to participate in an event in Havana, when he was detained by State Security officials in the Bus Terminal in Pinar del Río. They forced him to go to a green car which belonged to Counterintelligence Directorate. He was threatened by Captain Juan Pérez who told him that if he wanted to continue his journey to Havana, he would be processed for disobedience. Three hours later, Yelky was released close to his house. Moreover, he was watched over for next two days.
