At 6 pm, an activist Juan Alberto de la Nuez Ramírez was detained on the national highway when he was heading to Havana to meet his friends. He was driven to the police station in Aguada de Pasajeros. Political police officers who were present, Yunier Ricardo, Pablo, Lieutenant-colonel Vladimir Castillo Cecilia and a delegate of the Ministry of Interior (MININT), informed him that he is no more allowed to travel to Havana, Matanzas ans Villa Clara. They told him to break all the links with the former political prisoner Iván Hernández Carrillo and that he is not allowed to attend any of the meetings organized by the Democratic Action Unit Board (MUAD). Moreover, they told him that a precautionary measure will be applied and he has to come every Wednesday to the police station to sign a respective document. De la Nuez Ramírez refused to sign any document related to the application of precautionary measures. The officers confiscated his ID and he was released at 10 pm. On Wednesday, de la Nuez Ramírez went to the police station to pick up his ID. Lieutenant-colonel Vladimir Castillo Cecilia, who was present, told him that the ID will be delivered to his place of residency and added, that he was just following the orders of the headquarters.
