Detained after attending to a trial as a defense counsel

Journalist and lawyer, Roberto Jesús Quiñones Haces, was detained on April 22 in the surroundings of the municipal tribunal, where he reported the irregularities of a trial. Inside the patrol car, the victim was beaten brutally. His wife visited him on the 23rd, when she could see all the injuries on his body. He could barely hear with the right ear, his mouth was swollen, his tongue full of injuries, the right thumb broken and he struggled to swallow solid food. He was retained in a cell without running water. The victim had been detained last only 4 days before.
