Human Rights activist Reinaldo Martin Villar was detained by a political police officer named Eddy and taken to the National Revolutionary Police Station (PNR) of Manuel Tames. There, he was attended to by an officer from the Department of State Security (DSE) known as Calviño. Mr. Martin was then interrogated about two posters that previously appeared in the neighborhood requesting freedom for political prisoners and demonstrating against ""the Castro Canel dictatorship"". The activist was notified by the officer that he was one of the people who put up posters around the neighborhood, which the officer was sure that he had seen put up. Mr. Martin responded by asking the officer if he had seen him putting up poster, to which the officer responded by insisting that if he had not put them up, he knew who had. Additionally, the officer threatened him with imprisonment without trial if he did not disclose what he knew. He was released at 1 p.m.
