Independent journalist Jordenis Castillo was working in the municipality of El Salvador, in Guantánamo, making a documentary on coal production in Marabú, when two soldiers arrived at the site and detained him for no reason. Jordenis was taken to a police cell, where he was detained from eleven in the morning until five in the afternoon, when he was released without his work belongings (a video camera, a tripod and a microphone). In addition to this, Jordenis was threatened that if he was seen in the area again, he would be fined financially.
