Activist arbitrarily detained for 2 days

One of the members of the Esperanza Center was in his house making a party, when 3 police cars appeared and policemen invaded his house. According to the officials, they were celebrating the death of Fidel Castro, at which the activist responded that it is his house and that he can celebrate whatever. He was handcuffed and taken to the First Police Unit, where he was beaten and held incommunicado until the August 15, when he was released without telling him the reason for the detention that lasted 2 days.
