A man from Guantanamo detained for 3 days when heading to Mass



Alexander Martínez Rojas was invited by Ladies in White to attend a Mass. The invitation was on behalf of his brother who was at that time in the Agostinho Neto Hospital in Guantanamo as he was beaten up in the Guantanamo Prison. When Alexander was on his way to the church, he was detained by a Major known as Kelvin and other police officers.They beat him causing him injuries on his arms. After that, Alexander was put in patrol car no. 637 and taken to the State Security Operations Unit. He was threatened that if his ties with Ladies in White continued, he would be sanctioned. He was released on August 16 at 2 pm.
