Lady in White Yaritza, every Sunday participates in a Mass of Santa Rita de Ricci Church in Guantanamo to demand the release of political prisoners.
The activist intended to attend the Mass, but when she was traveling on a bus of public transport through the police checkpoint of the town Caimanera, police led by orders from State Security stopped the bus and detained Yaritza. She remained at the police station until the Mass was over and then she was released.
