Zenovia was standing on the street, 4 Oeste between 14 and 15 Norte, talking to several people. Suddenly, the police chief known as Garrido along with two non-identified State Security agents (DSE) and Lieutenant Colonel Rey who is the head of so-called Investigative Technical Police (PTI), detained her. She was taken to the PTI unit known as "La Tercera", located in the northern part of the city. There, she was told that she speaks badly of the revolution and "El Comandante" (meaning Fidel) during her gatherings on the street. The officials added that, for sure, she would not vote in the referendum on the new constitution. Zenobia just simply replied that she would not. She was released at about 4:30 pm on the same day without further consequences.
