Guantánamo citizen threatened in order to prevent him from participating in Human Rights Day celebrations



Eliecer Gongora Erlay was summoned by a sector chief to the police unit known as Parque 24, based on the order of the State Security. There he was threatened for not having a job and he was also told that if he was detained on the Human Rights Day involved in any activity against the government, he would be prosecuted for dangerousness. Gongora Erlay explained that it is an international day celebrating human rights and he has a right to be free in his thoughts and expression. Then he was immediately driven to a prison cell. He was released 3 hours later.
