Guantánamo citizen detained on the street while heading to Mass

Isabel Martínez Leyva was detained when she was on her way, along with the Ladies in White, to the Sunday Mass in order to ask for the release of the political prisoners and the relase of José Daniel Ferrer García, who was being kept in the State Security detention center. The detention was carried out by the sector chief and policemen who reacted immediately on the ongoing detention. Martínez Leyva started to shout "Long live human rights" and "Freedom for Cuba" and she was sharply stopped, handcuffed and put in a patrol car no. 637. She was then taken to the police unit known as Parque 24. There she was warned and threatened. She was released 20 hours later.
