New Arbitrary Detention



At 6:30 a.m., the activist Kirenia García Frometa was on her way to the Catholic church in the Santiago de Cuba province to participate in mass to ask for freedom for political prisoners and for the cessation of political repression. She was detained by officials of the State Security known as Sergio and Kevin. Then she was driven to the police unit and released at 11 a.m. the same day.
