Activists from Holguín attacked by Rapid Response groups

On 5 March, 2020, at 11 am, two activists from the Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR) and twin sisters at the same time, Anairis and Adairis Miranda Leyva, including her daughter Tahimí Rodríguez Miranda who was with them, were victims of repudiation act as well as agression and death threats. When they were about to buy soap in a shop called El Encanto, located on the 1st Boulevard in Holguín, they were attacked by the building manager, Mayelín del Toro Concepción, who started to shout: "The soap is for the communists only". After that she called in the Rapid Response groups which were beating the women with their bags, extraordinarily very heavy.
