Lady in White prevented from leaving the country at Havana Airport

The political activist Lourdes Esquivel Vieyto was prevented from boarding her flight to Miami on 4 April. Her flight was scheduled for 9 pm from the José Martí International Airport in Havana. However, the migration officer told her: "You are banned from leaving the country." It must be said, that on 20 February last year, when Lourdes was travelling back from Miami, her luggage was searched and the officials found stickers saying "Yes, we can." One of the officials immediately told her: "You will not leave the country again".
