Man from Guantánamo detained and threatened due to his contact with opposition



Marcos Ávila Lugo was summoned by sector police chief in his neighborhood, Captain Rudel Calunga, to the police unit in Reparto Obrero District in Guantánamo. There he was threatened for not having a job and meeting with opposition members on the streets in his neighborhood. The officials also informed him that he could be prosecuted based on the law on dangerousness if he continued with the meetings. Ávila Lugo was released on the same day three hours later.
