Alexánder Aguilar Sosa was visiting a former political prisoner Félix Navarro Rodríguez in Périco. After the visit, when he was about to leave for the municipality of El Roque, he was detained on the street by a political police officer known as Yuniel. He was put in a patrol jeep and driven to the police station in Perico. When they arrived, the officials confiscated all his personal belongings. Based on Yuniel's order, they also confiscated him a copy of a complaint submitted recently to the Inspectors' offices and 30 CUC which was, according to Yuniel, "counter-revolutionary money". Alexánder did not receive any confiscation record. Then he was obliged to take off his clothes. All the time during the detention, he was recorded. Before his release, Yuniel approached him and said: " If you stayed outside the police station or went again to see Félix, I would beat you up." At 4:30 pm, he was taken close to the place he is currently living in and released.
