An activist from Guantánamo summoned to Parque 24 and threatened with imprisonment

At 3 pm, Yusmel Acosta Aguilera, an activist from the Eastern Democratic Alliance, was summoned by State Security official, Captain Wilson, to the police unit Parque 24. When he arrived, he was interrogated by official Leonis, who told him to stop organizing events on the streets such as the one carried out on 24 September 2020 when he was distributing around pictures of José Martí. If not, they would put him in prison. The official added that they had 10 vacant places in the prison, so they would not lose anything with that. Later on, he issued an official warning for Yusmel for an alleged criminal damage. Then Yusmel was fined 600 pesos for that crime and released.
