On 28 September, 2020, a house of Anairis Miranda Leiva, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) from Holguín, was attacked and stoned. The action was led by the State Security, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution and their collaborators. The officials did not care about the fact that there were children and elderly people in the house who might have been affected.
