Anderlay Guerra Blanco is a journalist. On that day, he was in San Justo District in the Eastern part of the city of Guantánamo, covering the topic of condition and contamination of the river Guaso. When he was walking through streets in this part of the city, he was detained by police officers. They put him in a patrol car and drove him to the police unit dealing with crimes against the security of the state. In that unit, he was received by State Security official Víctor Víctor who kept him there for 7 hours. During his detention, he threatened him, confiscated his video camera and issued him an official warning for dangerousness. Morever, the official fined him 3000 pesos for being involved in counter-revolutionary activities, based on the decree 370. Before his release, the official said: "We are going to put you in jail, so don't be crazy."
