Activist of Cuban Reflection Movement arbitrarily detained for more than 72 hours

On November 18, 2020 Orlando Triana González, the activist of the Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR), was taken to the PNR station of Camajuaní, in the province of Villa Clara, where he remained until December 3, 2020, with the aggravating circumstance that they revoked him to prison, but not until January, when his sentence is served, and he will be in prison for one year from the date of arrest. He was taken for several days to La Pendiente prison and at the time of registration of this case (25 December, 2020) he was in La Pista prison camp in Manacas, Santo Domingo. This is due to the fact that he has a dispute with the next door neighbour over the boundary fence, which she built in her yard when he was in prison. The Office of Municipal Physical Planning drafted an official document authorizing the demolition of this wall, but nevertheless the demolition has not been carried out, which suggests that State Security is most likely behind it, trying to intimidate the victim into giving up the MCR membership.
