Activist Did Not Receive Medical Assistance

Diana Rosa Ricardo Serrano came to a community clinic with broken leg. Seeking medical assistance, Dr. Díaz Díaz Mildrey denied assistance to Diana, saying that there were no plates to make the radiograph. Together with her son Ricardo Norie Gonzales, they called for an ambulance that woud take them to hospital. However, they were told there was no ambulance. Diana and Norie had to take a bici-taxi to get to the hospital. Upon arrival, they received from the doctors who were present the same negative response as earlier in the polyclinic. Doctors did not even examine her foot that was extremely swollen. Diana was sure that this attitude of doctors was because they were manipulated by the political police.
