To prevent an activists meeting, State agents spy on and detain activist

On the 6th of this month, Yoel Hernández Jiménez, head of the civilist command of Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR) in Santa Clara, was arrested as he was preparing to meet with the activist Librado R. Linares García in the park of Puente de la Cruz in that city. The political police intercepted a coordination phone call they made, and from there the assault took place. They took the victim to the 3rd Corps of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR), where he remained until he was released after an hour. The State Security Department (DSE) agent responsible for the threats and the attempt to coerce him into signing a warning act claims that his name is Pedro.
