The victim was on going to Marlon Martorell Quiñones´ place in order to report him what was going on in his house, already two days under the control of State Authorities. He was intercepted by a patrol car and the police officer told him he was detained. As soon as they arrived to the police station, the victim was taken to the State Security office and the officials started interrogating him. They asked him questions mostly about distribution of leaflets on the day which is considered to be an anniversary of the beginning of the Cuban Revolution (Attack on Moncada Barracks). He was also threatened that if he continued distributing the leaflets, he would be put in jail for 5 years, as it has been already promised.
