UNPACU activist detained by State Security at Guantánamo checkpoint

In the middle of the day on 25 September, 2020, Diosbany Salazar Rodríguez was on his way back home in the municipality of Maqueycito near Guantánamo. When he was about to go through a transport checkpoint, he was kidnapped by State Security officials known as Kevin, Lionis, Víctor and two more the vicitm did not know. After that he was taken to a place where he had to take off his clothes and where he was later on left. The officials also spoiled all the food the victim was carrying from Guantánamo. The officials searched carefully his clothes and confiscated all the victim's money. Then they warned him that they would take him all he has in case he kept meeting with counter-revolutionary elements such as Bartolo Cantillo and Henry Couto.
