Young activist detained in Guantánamo



Alexei Briso Lahera was on his way to attend Mass and a protest march demanding the release of political prisoners, the end of political repression and social and political changes in Cuba. At 7 am, he was detained by National Revolutionary Police and State Security officials. They put him into the patrol car No. 610 and he was driven to the police station (Parque 24), where he was threatened with imprisonment for his political activism. He was released at 11m at the same day.
