Activist from Manuel Tames detained by State Security for three days

Bartolo Cantillo Romero was detained by State Security officials (DSE) known as Edwin Jefferson or Kevin and Víctor Víctor when he was leaving the house of his wife Celina. Bartolo was planning to attend Sunday Mass in the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church. After his detention, he was driven to the police station in the minicipality of El Salvador where the officials were accusing him of posting anti-government posters which had appeared in Guantánamo the night before his detention. The officials wanted to do calligraphic tests, but Bartolo refused. He was released on 9 April at about 8 am without any further consequences.
