Agents from the Department of State Security (DSE) and the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) took all the resources that international organizations had sent to an activist from the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) to help her son who is in prison. The activist was also arrested at the police station in Calixto, Majibacoa. Previously the activist had already received threats on several occasions that they would not allow her to be helped in any way and that each time she was released she would be arrested.
