A periodist José Clemente Corrales Serrat was about to attend a training on democracy carried out near Viñales. When leaving his house, he was detained by State Security official Captain Juan Pérez. José was prevented from attending the activity and had to stay at home for four hours, controlled by two State Security collaborators. He was also told, that if he left home and participated in the training, he would he prosecuted foe disobedience.
